We know that a virtual First-year Orientation may be best for you. We offer a full-day virtual Orientation which allows you to Zoom with us from wherever you may be located!
Here's what you can expect at virtual Orientation.
- Join a small breakout room with other new students and an Owl Team Leader, a current Temple student, who can answer your questions about life at Temple.
- Get oriented to Temple’s campus and building locations (virtually, of course!).
- Learn about various campus resources to aid in your transition.
- Meet with your school or college for academic advising and registering for your fall courses.
What will I need to participate in virtual Orientation?
- To fully participate you will need a device (computer, laptop, tablet) that has audio functionality.
- Reliable access to the internet.
- While not required, we recommend the use of headphones to avoid background noise.
- Your Temple Zoom account using your AccessNet username and password.
- Come ready to turn your video and microphone on to have a more fun experience.
When will virtual Orientation happen?
Virtual First-year Orientation will be on Friday, January 10th from 10am - 4pm. Orientation will include an opportunity to meet an Owl Team Leader, a virtual campus tour, and an advising appointment.
