Parent and Family Orientation
Congratulations on being the parent, family member, or support system of a Temple University student!
Parents, families, and support systems are an integral part of the Temple University community. We understand the adjustments involved in sending students off to college and offer optional Parent and Family Orientations throughout the summer. The goal of this program is to help acclimate parents and families to Temple University and the surrounding Philadelphia community.
Join us for our Parent and Family Orientation 2018 to learn about the programs, resources, and services that Temple has available for you and your student. This optional, but recommended, two-day program runs concurrently with the New Student Orientation program for freshman. There is a nominal charge for family members to attend Parent and Family Orientation. Please keep in mind that the program is not designed with young children in mind.
Note: Registration is required and space is limited. Sessions occur concurrently with New Student Orientation, however, family members do not have to participate in the same orientation dates as their student. Registration for each session closes 3 days prior to the respective date or once capacity is reached.
2018 Parent & Family Orientation Sessions
*Parents, families, and support systems must select and register for their orientation date as session dates are not assigned based on selected student orientation date.
