As a new student, you will attend a First-Year Orientation to meet new people, learn how you can get involved as a Temple student, and register for courses.

What is First-Year Orientation?

It’s a full-day experience - either virtual or in-person - for students admitted to the Fall 2025 semester - that includes the following: 

• Academic advising and registration for courses

• Connecting with an Owl Team Leader, who is a current student and will answer your questions about Temple

• Meeting other new students in the Class of 2029

We’ll also have other opportunities for you to meet new people and learn about campus resources at the start of the semester as part of Weeks of Welcome.

When is First-Year Orientation?

First-Year Orientation sessions will take place between June 30, 2025 and July 31, 2025. You will be able to make a reservation for Orientation in early April.
