As a new transfer student, you will attend a virtual Transfer Orientation to meet new people, learn how you can get involved as a Temple student, and register for fall courses.

We’ll also have lots of other virtual opportunities for you to meet new people and learn about campus resources and services throughout the summer. These events include:
Owls in the City: Learn all you need to know about Philadelphia from food and the arts scene to transportation and everything in between.
Resource Webinars: Engage with experts from offices across campus to have your questions answered about all aspects of life as an Owl.
Meet-ups: Connect with current and incoming students who share similar identities and experiences. Check out the transfer student meet-up!
Night Owl Events: Meet fellow Owls through different social activities such as trivia.
Attend three or more of these events and you will win a Temple hat. Plus, you will be entered into a drawing for a $100 Amazon gift card! You can find all of the details in the Orientation tab in your TUportal.
When will it happen?
Transfer Orientation sessions will take place from mid-May through early August via Zoom. Sessions are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
What will you need?
- A device (computer, laptop, or tablet) that has audio functionality
- Access to internet
- While not required, we recommend the use of headphones to avoid background noise
