Deanne DeCrescenzo

Director, New Student and Family Programs



Deanne DeCrescenzo joined Temple in August 2017 as the Director of New Student and Family Programs.  She is committed to supporting the transition of incoming students and their families to Temple University and helping them develop a sense of belonging here.  She oversees departmental programs including Freshman, Transfer, and Parent & Family Orientations, Parent & Family Weekend, and other new student initiatives.  Prior to arriving at Temple University, Deanne worked at Baruch College, CUNY and Teachers College, Columbia University in New York City.  She is a graduate of Penn State University (B.S. Marketing, B.S. French, B.S. International Studies) and Columbia University (M.A. Higher & Postsecondary Education).  Deanne is a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach and a member of NASPA - Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education and NODA - Association for Orientation, Transition, and Retention in Higher Education.


Brandon Arnold

New Student Programs Coordinator 



Brandon Arnold joined Temple in March 2021 as the New Student Programs Coordinator. He is dedicated to promoting the success of incoming students throughout their journey at Temple. He supervises the Owl Team, oversees first-year and transfer orientation as well as transfer student initiatives. He is a graduate of the University of Connecticut (B.A. Psychological Sciences)  and Michigan State University (M.A. Student Affairs Administration). While at Michigan State University, he held a graduate assistantship with Residence Education and Housing Services, a graduate assistantship with the Dean of Students Office, and a NODA internship with New Student and Family Programs at Temple University. Brandon is a member of NODA- Association for Orientation, Transition, and Retention in Higher Education and ACPA- American College Personnel Association.
