Deanne DeCrescenzo, Ed.D. (she/her/hers)
Assistant Dean, New Student and Family Programs
Deanne DeCrescenzo joined Temple in August 2017. She is committed to supporting the transition of incoming students and their families to Temple University and helping them develop a sense of belonging here. She oversees departmental programs including First-year, Transfer, and Parent & Family Orientations, Parent & Family Weekend, and other new student initiatives. Prior to arriving at Temple University, Deanne worked at Baruch College, CUNY and Teachers College, Columbia University in New York City. She is a graduate of Penn State University (B.S. Marketing, B.S. French, B.S. International Studies), Columbia University (M.A. Higher & Postsecondary Education), and Temple University (Ed.D. in Higher Education). Deanne is a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach and a member of NASPA - Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education, NODA - Association for Orientation, Transition, and Retention in Higher Education, and AHEPPP: Family Engagement in Higher Education.
Jake Collette-Nippins (he/him/his)
New Student Programs Coordinator
Jake Collette-Nippins joined Temple in December 2022. He oversees the Owl Team, as well as works within the first-year and transfer orientation processes. Prior to working at Temple University, Jake worked in Residence Life at the Pennsylvania College of Technology and Susquehanna University. Jake earned a Masters in College Student Personnel Administration from James Madison University ('20) and a Bachelors in History from Rutgers University-Camden ('18).
Brandy Jericho-Beach (she/her/hers)
Parent and Family Programs Coordinator
Brandy Jericho-Beach joined Temple in April of 2023. It is her mission to integrate parents and families to the Temple University community through meaningful and inclusive programming in order to encourage them and their student to be invested members of the Temple community. Prior to arriving at Temple University, Brandy worked at Villanova University in the Division of Student Life, AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals, and ABC News. She is a graduate of Edinboro University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelors in Speech Communication.
Jorden Dray (he/him/his)
Jorden Dray is currently a graduate student at The University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where he is getting his Masters in College Student Personnel. There, he works in University Housing as an Assistant Hall Director. Jorden earned his Bachelors in Mathematics with a minor in Chemistry from Wingate University ('21).
Harrisen Lacayo (he/him/his)
Harrisen Lacayo joined Temple in May of 2023. He is incredibly excited to be in Philadelphia this summer and to have the opportunity to welcome the Class of 2027 into the Temple community. Prior to working at Temple University, Harrisen spent three years working in various capacities of orientation and first year programs at Florida State University (FSU). Harrisen earned a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology & Communications from FSU and will begin a Master's Program in College Student Personnel at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville this upcoming Fall.
